The Government has changed the training package.
CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property (Real Estate) has been superseded by CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice.

What does this mean for you?
You can still enrol and complete the current course as it is the educational requirement and is still recognised by Consumer Affairs Victoria and the Office of Fair Trading in Queensland and New South Wales. For students who enrol 1 March 2021 onwards you must complete by 1 September 2021. From 30 September 2021 RTO's will no longer be able to deliver the current course and issue results from CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).

If you enrol and complete your course before 1 September 2021 you will not be affected.

What if you don't complete by 1 September 2021?
If you do not complete your course by 1 September 2021, you will need to complete all the new educational requirements by Consumer Affairs Victoria and the Office of Fair Trading in Queensland and New South Wales. We will help you with any transition, however you will be required to enrol, pay and complete the new course. At the time of this post, Consumer Affairs Victoria and the Office of Fair Trading in Queensland and New South Wales haven't publicly announced what the new educational requirement will be after 30 September 2021 (historically there is a transition period of a few years for people that have the old qualification). We strongly recommend that you complete your course by 1 September 2021.
